Biography:
D. BRUCE MALCOLM

BRUCE MALCOLM is the managing partner of Ravenhill Group. His background includes 30+ years of human resource management experience covering all aspects of HR administration with a clear specialty in team building and recruiting. He created and developed the concept of “Ethical Head-Hunting™”.

Bruce began his recruiting career in 1971 with Prudential Assurance. There he recruited, trained and mentored junior executives in marketing, operations, sales and administration.

He followed this with five years in the home furnishing business in Dallas Texas. He led, in everything from manufacturing to supply chain management.

After a stint at the Dallas head Office of Daystar Industries, he returned to Canada to head up the Executive Recruiting Division of Keith Bagg and Associates. There he had both generalist and specialist responsibilities in domestic HR management. Bruce has successfully launched and sold several businesses, which have included: Commercial Construction, Food Services and General Insurance. He set up Ravenhill Group Inc. in 2000.

SHELDON STREET

Account Executive - specializes in “Ethical Head-Hunting™ " municipal and corporate executives. He is also an accomplished researcher and administrator. Sheldon has over 30 years business experience at the senior executive level in the POP Display industry were he handled a wide variety of HR matters.

He is a Director of an international charity where he is deeply involved in the hiring and selection of staff. Before joining Ravenhill Group, Sheldon held a number of key positions in both the retail and building sectors.

LESLEY PRESTWICH

Lesley Prestwich is the Manager of Research at Ravenhill Group. She brings many years of investigative experience to the company and our clients. Using the tried and true methods she learned while working with Forzani Group and TDL Group Corp., Lesley has been able to check references and gather information with an effectiveness that goes way beyond the scope of a typical HR Department.

Her education and background in social work makes her an ideal person to handle the sensitive and confidential aspects of search work and research. Lesley has an incredible network of contacts and knows a lot about a lot of things. These along with exceptional people skills make her the right person to find the ’right’ person for you.
